TwitterCrunchGate

It's been what, a week? Like a waiting period before you can talk bad about the dead, I think it's time that I say something about Hacker Croll's gold mine of internal Twitter info published by TechCrunch.

I think it's mostly bullshit.

My opinion would be a little different if the information released was harmful to Twitter... What I've read online (and it hasn't been much) has read more like Twitter press releases than damaging documents.

That could be because the Twitter's Reality-Distortion-Field makes Steve Jobs' look like a that guy in college that riled up everyone and got them to march on campus about 'something'. At least Steve J and Co were hyping a product that had a flippin' business plan.

The good side of all of this: the use strong passwords and strongly consider the risk of apps in the cloud is a good thing. The hype however... not so much.
